SEO and Ads That Bring Customers, Not Just Clicks
Plenty of agencies will show you a graph of rising traffic. That graph means nothing if none of those visitors ever contacts you. We measure the same thing you do — enquiries, bookings and sales — and we will tell you when a channel is not working instead of quietly spending your budget on it.
Local SEO: usually the fastest win
If you serve customers in a specific city or area, your Google Business Profile matters more than your website ranking. It is what appears in Google Maps and in the local results above everything else, and it is free. Most businesses have one that is half filled in or never touched.
- Claiming and fully completing the profile — categories, services, hours, service area, photos.
- Making sure your name, address and phone number match everywhere they appear online.
- Setting up a review flow, so happy customers are actually asked.
- Local landing pages when you serve several areas.
Technical SEO
This is the groundwork that decides whether Google can read and trust your site at all: speed, mobile usability, crawlability, sitemap and robots.txt, canonical tags, structured data, HTTPS and fixing broken or duplicate pages. We start every engagement with an audit, and you get the findings in plain language — what is broken, why it matters, and what it costs to fix. You keep that document whether or not you continue with us.
Content and on-page
A single homepage cannot rank for everything a business does. Each service you want to be found for needs its own page, written for one search intent. We research what your customers actually type, map those terms to pages, and write or rewrite the content — titles, headings, body copy and internal links. This is slower than technical fixes but it is what produces durable rankings.
Paid ads
SEO takes months. Ads start today. Running both together usually makes sense: ads bring enquiries while SEO builds, and the search terms that convert in ads tell you exactly which pages to write.
- Google Search ads — for people already looking for what you sell. Normally the highest intent and the best place to start.
- Meta and Instagram ads — for demand you create rather than capture, and for visual businesses.
- Landing pages — sending paid traffic to a generic homepage wastes most of the budget. We build pages matched to the ad.
- Conversion tracking — set up properly, so you can see which keyword produced which enquiry rather than guessing.
Reporting you can actually read
Every month you get a short report: what we did, what changed, what it produced, and what we are doing next. Calls and enquiries, not just impressions. If something is not working we say so in that report rather than burying it. We do not use long lock-in contracts — if we are not producing results you should be free to leave.
What we will not do
We do not buy backlinks, run private blog networks, stuff keywords, or use any other tactic that borrows short-term rankings against the risk of a penalty. We also will not promise you a number-one position — nobody can, and anyone who does is guessing. What we will give you is a realistic picture of how competitive your market is before you spend anything.
Frequently asked questions
How long does SEO take to show results?
Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can show movement in 2–6 weeks. Ranking for competitive commercial terms realistically takes 4–8 months of consistent work. Anyone promising first-page rankings in 30 days is either targeting terms nobody searches for or using tactics that will eventually get you penalised.
Can you guarantee the number one position on Google?
No, and neither can anyone else — Google's ranking factors are not public and competitors keep working too. What we can do is show you the current gap between you and whoever ranks above you, and be specific about what closing it would take.
Is SEO or Google Ads better for my business?
They solve different problems. Ads give you enquiries this week but stop the moment you stop paying. SEO is slower but compounds and keeps working. If you need customers now and can afford a budget, start with ads and build SEO in parallel.
Do I need a new website for SEO to work?
Usually not. Most sites can be improved rather than replaced. A rebuild only becomes the cheaper option when the site is extremely slow, cannot be edited, or is built in a way that search engines cannot read properly. The audit tells us which situation you are in.
Do you lock clients into long contracts?
No. We work month to month. The work has to justify itself — if it does, you will want to continue; if it does not, a contract should not be what keeps you.
What do I actually receive each month?
A short written report covering the work done, ranking and traffic changes, the number of enquiries or calls produced, and the plan for the next month — plus a call to go through it if you want one.
